Former Carlton legends Phil Bignall, Dave Jephson and Ian White along with former long serving manager Tommy Brookbanks and current manager Les Mcjannet all came together to pay tribute to Chairman Mick Garton who has just completed 10 years in the chair and as an added bonus, the Chairman was able to officially confirm the Miller Mouse will now be born.

Messages of good luck and congratulations continued to come into Carlton Town over the weekend with Carlton Le Willows School, former Executive Director Vaughan Williams now Chairman of Belper, former Reserve Manager Ian Spencer and Julian McDonald father of Massiah McDonald who left the club to join Worksop Town earlier in the season among those in touch with senior figures at the club and one of the clubs sponsorship partners Premier Electrical have announced they will sponsor the semi final clash with Leek Town, while Pete Bignall has been called up to head up operations on the night.

In 7 incredible minutes, Carlton Town made it 100 goals for the season and blasted themselves into a  2nd place Evostick division one south finish with 2 goals in the final minutes against Goole and a little bit of help from Grantham Town who scored an injury time winner to beat Ilkeston 2-1.
