CHAIRMAN AIMING TO RAISE ANOTHER 1k FOR CLUB!

Friday 12th April maybe just another day to many, but to loyal Carlton Town fund raisers, it is an important day indeed as Carlton attempt to raise another 1k as they continue their constant ongoing battle to meet their commitments and survive.

It is the 6th year of this event which is built firmly into the Millers fund raising calendar and Chairman Mick Garton and deputy Commercial Manager Gaz Bee who are both once again taking part and are both hoping plenty pop in and drop some money in the collection bucket and support the event at the Clubhouse from 8am to 8pm this Friday 12th April.

Dean Wykes is getting involved this year as well which means their will be three teams competing for this years winners trophy, won by Mick and Tom in 2016 and 2017 , but captured by Roger and Gaz in 2018.

Despite the fact the event is firmly a fund raiser, there is always an edge to this event which makes it all the more fascinating and everyone at the club will be hoping the participants can once again help the club raise another vital £1,000 as they did when Mick, Alan Murphy and Josh Hodgson took to the decks at the recent fundraiser at the Dragon.

“Without these events, the club would not be able to function at the level they have climbed to, so thankyou to everyone who has supported this event and we hope to see a few of you at the stadium”said a club spokesman.
