BOTH DIVISIONS GOING TO THE WIRE

 

There were slips at the top of the Premiership with the Brookland Boys going down 4-3 to Carlton’s Academy despite a brace by John Hickling and a goal from Dan Moorecroft while Dominic Barlow’s Killer Bee’s could only take a point from the bottom side Unknowns in a 3-3 thriller. The Bees are only a point behind with a game in hand.

 

Gedlingberg go third after beating Titco 5-3. Meanwhile in the Championship Azzers Lads closed in on Carlton Town Youth with an outstanding 15-1 win. Azzer himself was on fire with 4 while Tudor hit a hatrick and O’Neill 5 in the onslaught. Irish 2 and Scott 1 were the other scorers while Tom replied for Mark Dennison’s battered boys. Nbn 2 go up to 4th after beating Windsor 6-2 in this mid table clash. Brynn 2, Nigel, Steve and Jam were all goal scorers for NBN 2 while Ben and Sean replied for Windsor.
AZZERS SLIP UP IS GOOD NEWS FOR CARLTON TOWN YOUTH

 

Carlton town youth extended their lead to 8 points by beating NBN 2 3-1 in the championship. Goals from Jason 2 and Denny did the damage while Brynn replied for the much improved NBN 2 boys.   

 

2nd placed Azzer’s Lads surprisingly went down 3-0 to Gaz’s Parrots with Chapman 2 and beaten 1 on the money for the Parrot’s.

Trent FM’s excellent form continued and that man Moyes was at it again, a brace this week and with Karl hitting 3 and Nick 1, they beat FC Ballers 6-3 for whom Martin, Norm and Damo hit the back of the net.

  

Windsor had an excellent win and a Ben hatrick helped them defeat Barcelona Reserves 6-0. Chris, Tom and Aiden got the others.

  

There were 2 games in the Premiership this week. Aidy Moorecrofts Brookland Boys stay top after beating Gedlingberg 8-3 with John Hickling the star for the Brookland Boys with a hatrick. Gedlingberg’s 3 goals came from Jack, John and Dan. Meanwhile Misfits Jack was on fire, he hit all 4 as they beat Carlton’s Academy 4-3 in a thriller.

 

The night was a good one for Carlton Town Youth, their next clash with Azzer’s Lads could prove vital.
MOYES ON FIRE AS TRENT FM WIN AGAIN

 

Dominic Moyes turned back the years by helping Trent FM demolish Windsor. Moyes exploded with a sensational hatrick including his first strike which was described as a peach by Tim Bee. Tom got Trent’s other goal and Aiden scored Windsors in Trent FM’s 4-1 win in the Championship. 

 

Carlton Town Youth remain top after thumping FC Ballers 12-3. Jol 4, Nicky 3, Jack 2, Shaun 1, Mitch 1 and Denny 1 were all on the money for Carlton. 

 

Azzer’s Lads kept the pressure on with a fine 4-1 win over the much improved NBN 2. Irish 2, Azzer himself 1and O’Neill 1 did the damage while Brynn was on the scoresheet for NBN 2. 

 

The other game in the championship saw Gaz’s Parrots beat Barcelona Reserves 5-2. Paul and Lee scored the geriatrics goals while Paul Haworth 2, Paul Beaton 2 and Chapman 1 got the 5 important goals for the Parrots. 

 

In the Premiership The Brookland Boys and Bees continue to lead the way. Brookland beat Misfits 2-1 while The Killer Bees hammered Carlton’s Academy 7-2.

 

Titco and Kings played out a thriller, 3-3 that one finished while Gedlingberg added to Uknown’s Woes by beating them 7-1. 

 

The talk of the town though was that man at Trent FM, Dominic ‘The wonder boy’ Moyes. He get’s better and better, Mark Dennison doesn’t know what he’s got there.
