The big news of the week was the transfer of Maz from the Mighty Ducks to MSR and while the Ducks themselves have brought in a more than adequate replacement from Leeds, with Ricky Gardener back for New Era, they came second best in their encounter with the current league champions going down 9-2.

Maz scored a brace, kissed the MSR badge in front of the watching Mighty Ducks and generally did well in MSR’s 8-0 win over De Ja Vu although Cloughie in goal and Whitey were the main stars in MSR’s victory that flattered them a little although they did play some decent stuff.

Daz Abbott gave the half time team talk of his life to help pull the Mod Squad round, 3-0 at half time to Beersoloner but 3-3 it finished.

Carlton Le Willows get better and better and they put 11 past Relentless but conceded 5 in an exciting game.

Maz, well he had a drink with his new team mates, smoked on a vapour, put his feet up and took some stick. MSR were glad to have him onboard however and Mighty Ducks it seemed were glad to say goodbye.
