MORE SUPPORTERS NEWS ON PITCHERO SITE

Carlton Town fans are served by not one but two websites.  As well as this site, the club also operates a site through the league website suppliers, Pitchero.  This website can be found as http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/carltontown/ and is updated by members of the supporters club, so don't forget to check there once you've been to this website.

BALLY WINS SUPPORTERS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Martin Ball is the inaugural winner of the Carlton Town Supporters Club player of the season.  The award is based on the man of the match votes cast by supporters at each fixture and Bally was the clear winner, with Grant Brindley and Tris Whitman in second and third places respectively.

Martin was presented with his award at the club's annual presentation evening on Friday 7 May.  It was part of a memorable double for the Millers midfielder, who also won the players' player of the year.

Tris Whitman won Tommy Brookbanks's final manager's player of the year.

Of course, with the upheaval at the club this summer, it is not yet known whether either player will be here next year to defend their titles.

HAVE YOU BEEN ON THE OTHER MILLERS SITE YET?

Carlton Town have a second website in addition to this one.  It is hosted by the Pitchero network, home of the Unibond League website and has full fixture / result / travel details as well as previews, match reports, photographs and much more.

Work on the archive section of that website is ongoing and at the time of writing results and league tables going back to the first season in the Northern Counties East League (2003-04) can be viewed.

As time goes on, the Supporters Club intends to add more information to that site, including the club history and stats for matches starting next season.

You can also contribute to the site by sending in articles / information and there is the option of registering as a supporter to receive various updates.  So why not go and have a look?

You can find the homepage at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/carltontown/

NEW WEBSITE TRIAL

Carlton are trialling a new website through Pitchero, the Unibond League's website provider.

For the time being, both the new and existing website will operate.  The new website can be found at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/carltontown/

Let us know what you think so the Club can decide how best to move forward with this.

Carlton Town Supporters Club

Carlton Town Supporters Club has been recently formed with the aim of promoting the club to a wider audience and getting the supporters involved with the club.  We will be putting stuff on the website and in the match programme and we have been voting for man of the match at games this season with a Supporters' Player of the Season to follow at the end of the campaign.

We have a twitter page (details to follow) and we also send out travel details for away games and match reports when we receive them.  We are looking to expand what we do, but to do that we need your help.

To get involved, or simply to receive the above information direct, send an email to carltontownsc@googlemail.com or come and see us at the match - we'll be near the flag, the triplets or (if we're unlucky) Mini.  (Only joking Mini!).
