A DRAW WITH HUCKNALL, A GREAT RACE EVENT AND THAT GAZ BEE INTERVIEW!

Carlton Town played out their latest pre season friendly in front of a crowd of 64 at Stoke Lane, the visitors being their local neighbours Hucknall Town.
After their problems over the last few years, Hucknall are once again a club moving in the right direction and they gave a Carlton side mainly made up of trialists and youngsters a really good game.
Carlton Trialist, Kimani Wilson gave Carlton the lead before Hucknall took control of the game and went 2-1 ahead.
Brookbanks and Harvey brought Oliver Clark and Kyle Stovell on in the second half to give Carlton a little more bite, but it was that man Wilson who got on the scoresheet again to make it 2-2 and that’s how it stayed.
Carlton then raised £578 at the race event that followed the game with most of the players and Management team staying behind to support the event.
