A WIN FOR THE VOLUNTEERS AFTER GREAT TURN OUT FOLLOWING APPEAL !

If ever there was a win for the supporters, this was it, the 5-0 victory over Bridlington on Tuesday night only came about following a monumental effort to get the game on following another postponement last Saturday.

Fantastic help from Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and in particular John Gorman and a fantastic band of volunteers, led by Brian Hartley who spent a significant part of his day at Stoke Lane, meant the game was on and what a performance from the Millers.

A brace from Man of the match Khyle Sargent and goals from Micha Jebbison, Alex Hardwick and the excellent Niall Hylton along with some fine goalkeeping from the returning Felix in goal helped secure the superb 5-0 win and was the perfect response to the 4-0 defeat at Belper the last time out.

The win moved the Millers up to 7th in the Northern Premier East League with a trip to Cleethorpes next up for Carlton on Saturday.

Carlton Town Tv caught up with Khyle on the pitch after the final whistle and Tommy in the boardroom soon afterwards.
