- Carlton Town have been inundated with calls following Chairman Mick Garton’s interview with Mark Dennison on Radio Nottingham.
Garton and local broadcaster Steve Corry who is playing in the game spoke to Dennison at length earlier about the big day, how it had come about and what spectators could expect on the day.
Both interviews went down well and the club has received excellent feedback and Garton (pictured being interviewed for Notts Tv) and Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke were at the Bill Stokeld Stadium this afternoon meeting Marstons Brewery and Notts Tv along with Club Secretary Trevor Wells as plans for Sunday were stepped up.
The club can comfirm that the gates will be open at 1pm and there is limited car parking with those arriving early having the best chance of securing a free parking space, there is local parking on side roads but spectators are reminded not to drive through the bus plug on Stoke Lane , a £60 fine will ruin your day !
Entry to the stadium is by donation and people are invited to donate what they can afford or what they want to contribute.
Track and Trace bar codes will be at the entrance, but those not having the app can give their contact details to the stewards as they would at any pub or restaurant currently.
There will be an outdoor and indoor bar and the club will be staffing those well to ensure the following of current government rules and that people get served as quickly as possible.
Crisps, bar snacks, sweets and Chocolate will also be available to purchase in the Clubhouse.
There will be a BBQ and the snack bar will be open throughout the event, the out door bar will be cash only but the indoor bar and patio/ marquee will have a credit card option and table service.

Carlton Town Juniors are also expected to be setting up a couple of stalls/ Penalty shoot out competition.
The big game between Carlton Town Fc and World Game Changers celebrity 11 kicks off at 3pm.
Dj sets by Top Nottinghamshire DJ Sanj Beri will be from 1pm to 3pm and he will be back in action after the game.
The raffle tickets are £5 a strip or 3 strips for £10 and the raffle will be drawn at approximately 5.30pm, there are some truly amazing prizes including a Mark Darcy Suit and signed items from Vicky McClure, Stuart Pearce, Mark Crossley, John Robertson to name but four, the prize list is pretty special.

Carlton Town’s Clubhouse has Sky Tv and the playoff game between Lincoln City and Blackpool will be shown live.
Notts Tv will be at the stadium throughout the afternoon filming during the game and conducting interviews to go out on the station during the following week.
We are certain we will have forgotten something, but in a nutshell that pretty much covers it all off !
