ANOTHER CRACKING GUEST LINED UP FOR STOKE LANE DEBUT !

Gary’ Boatsy’ Clarke is working hard in securing VIP guests for Carlton’s forthcoming fixtures and is delighted to announce another top football man for the next big local Derby.

On Tuesday 13th September, Grantham Town are the visitors to Stoke Lane and former Liverpool International Academy Manager Dave Rogers is the club’s very special guest.

Rogers scored one of the most famous goals for League of Ireland team Shelbourne in a Champions League qualifier against Hajduk Split in 2004 in a 2-0 victory.

The former Centre half has coached all over the world , but is now with Nottingham Forest alongside Andy Reid in their Under 23 set up.

Rogers met Boatsy and Chairman Mick Garton at a presentation event at the end of last season and predicted Forest would sign Morgan Gibbs White from Wolves and Nico Williams from Liverpool following promotion, he was proved right.

Rogers pictured with Charlie Clarke will join Chairman Mick Garton in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar for a chat about his career, his most famous goal, his time at Liverpool and all things Nottingham Forest before the Grantham Town clash.

The Grantham Town clash is already attracting a lot of interest and Aerocom Uk have come forward to sponsor a game for the first time ever. The company have previously taken a table at the Christmas Luncheon, but this is their first Sponsorship venture with the Millers and the club are delighted to welcome them on board.

Before the Grantham clash however, Carlton face Hanley Town in the Fa Trophy on Saturday 10th September and Boatsy is looking for sponsors for that game too in the usual way.

Boatsy can be contacted on 07907 064189 or through his social media platforms and has asked us to put out there his thanks to everyone for the support he is getting from everyone in his role at Carlton Town.

The Miller’s are away at Brighouse Town this coming Saturday 3rd September, the club will not be running a bus for this game , but are likely to for the forthcoming game against Bridlington on 17th September, further details will follow in due course.
