ATTENTION TURNS TO BRIGHOUSE TOWN GAME AFTER BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE

Carlton Town to date have not had many off games this season, but the visit to Ashington was certainly one of them as the Millers suffered only their 2nd League away defeat of the season, all be it an emphatic one as they went down 4-0 and also had Alex Hardwick sent off.

A week is certainly a long time in football, it was only a few nights ago that Hardwick was the hero with a fantastic second goal at Newark and Sherwood that propelled the Millers in to the quarter finals of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.

Carlton drop to 8th after the disappointing result, three points outside the Playoff zone. Hebburn are now top with Belper second and Stockton third with Consett and Pontefract making up the teams in Playoff places.

Carlton must put this result behind them and look forward to getting back into action next Saturday 18th November when Brighouse visit Stoke Lane 3pm.

The club are hoping to comfirm some very special pre match guests for next Saturday and details will follow in the next couple of days as we build up to the game.
