BALLY ON THE COVER AS MILLERS HOPE TO HIT BACK AT STOKE LANE!

Carlton Town legend Martin Ball still recovering from a career saving operation hopes to be back in first team action shortly, but for now he will have to make do with his picture on front of this week’s Matchday programme. The picture appears courtesy of a promise made by editor Josh Hodgson and a good one it is too for the fixture on Tuesday 7th September when Sutton Coldfield Town are the visitors to Stoke Lane.

Academy striker Kai Moore features in the latest player profile and all the usual suspects will be writing once again following Carlton’s Fa Cup exit.

Lee Carrington who featured in a pool Marathon for the club in 2018 as kindly stepped forward to sponsor the Matchball and the Millers will be hoping to hit back following Saturday’s defeat.

Joint manager Tommy Brookbanks spoke to us after Saturday’s defeat and told us one of the things he had learnt from his stint managing at Northern Premier League level, was that you get punished very quickly if you don’t take your own chances during a game by teams at step three. That was certainly the case on Saturday!

The Millers are on the road on Saturday and a coach has been booked for the trip to Yaxley, speak to the Chairman at the ground on Tuesday if you wish to come on board, places for supporters for the return trip are just £10, times will be comfirmed in the coming days.

Any one wishing to attend the Elvis / 60 ‘s night with Barry and Jackie on Friday 17th September can speak to Barry at the ground or phone him on 07804 695807, tickets are just £7 for what promises to be a cracking evening.
