BIG BREAKING NEWS WITH SUPPORTERS ALLOWED BACK IN AND CUP DRAWS!

There was some major breaking news this evening as we were about to go to press with details of the Fa Cup and Trophy draws.

Adrain Durham announced live on Talk Sport that the government minister for sport had just tweeted that spectators were to be allowed in at Carlton Town’s level of football.

BBC News and Ollie Bayliss have since comfirmed this and club’s now have to wait and see what the guidance is and the numbers allowed and respond accordingly.

This website understands the club should receive a full up date in the next 24 hours, but potentially this could mean spectators are allowed in for the forthcoming friendlies from this Saturday.

In other news, Carlton have been handed a home tie in the extra preliminary round  of the Fa Cup on Tuesday 1st September when Loughborough University visit Stoke Lane.

If Carlton were to win that game, they would then travel to either Leicester Nirvana or Oadby Town in the preliminary round scheduled for Saturday 12th September.

In the Fa Trophy, Carlton have a bye in the first qualifying round but must visit either Evesham Town or Biggleswade on Saturday 17th October for the second qualifying round.
