BIG JON PARKIN CLOSE TO SELL OUT AND CAMBRIDGE AND HISTON LOSE APPEAL!

We have just caught up with Millers legend Martin Ball who has told us he only has a handful of tickets remaining  for next Friday’s Evening with Big Jon Parkin at Stoke Lane.

The final tickets can be snapped up at £20 each which includes Burger and chips from Bally on 07590 302604.

The event is to be held outside in the new Marquee and sound engineers were at the ground this weekend sorting things out for the much anticipated evening.

In other news, Millers Vice Chairman Barry North represented the club at the Northern Premier Leagues AGM on Saturday and revealed to us that Cambridge City and Histon had lost their appeals against be placed in the Northern Premier League’s new Midlands Division, so the league will go ahead next season as previously announced with the fixtures expected mid July.

Millers supporters have expressed their disappointment in losing one or two enjoyable away trips and in particular the trip to Sheffield FC, but as well as Cambridge and Histon, there are a number of teams in the new division that Carlton have never played including Colehill Town, Sporting Khalsa and Yaxley. They will also be able to recommence old rivalries with Shepard Dynamos after their promotion to step 4.

There are still a few seats available in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar at the ground for England v Germany on Tuesday night, telephone 07791 394234 to book and remember there is the added bonus of an happy hour from 3pm to 5pm.
