BIG WEEKEND FIXTURE CHANGE ANNOUNCED BY LEAGUE.
Carlton Town like pretty much everybody else in the Football family is saddened by the death of our queen and we as a club offer our deepest condolences to her family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
It is most certainly a truly significant moment in time and on the Football front, this unprecedented situation as resulted in the cancellation of the weekends football fixtures at all levels.
In a nutshell , Carlton’s Fa Trophy game v Hanley Town scheduled for Saturday 10th September is off, but will now be played on Tuesday 13th September meaning our home fixture with Grantham Town is now off instead.
Admission to Tuesday’s game is £9 Adults, £7 Concessions, £5 Students and Emergency service workers and £2 for under 16s.
The first team will train on Saturday from lunch time and the bar will be open for anyone wanting to come and have a drink and a catch up and perhaps share any stories, if anyone has been lucky enough to meet the queen during her remarkable 70 years on the throne.
