BOATSY LAUNCHES THE 2023 XMAS DRAW WITH THE OFFICIAL MILLERS START TO CHRISTMAS

Gary “Boatsy”Clarke will officially launch this year’s Christmas draw on Tuesday night when Stockton Town visit Stoke Lane.

Boatsy has already sold his first book of 20 tickets (pictured) to Alex at Oakfield Construction and the fund raising focus for the club will very much be on the Christmas draw over the next 4 weeks.

The Chairman has already secured £50 vouchers from the Boot Room, Amores Gedling, Marco Pierre Whites and the Staunton Arms and both he and Boatsy are working hard to ensure a decent list of prizes once again.

The first tickets will be handed out to the Carlton Committee and Supporters Club at the fixture and the draw will take place on Tuesday 19th December and Jane Bryson will be specially preparing some mince pies for the evening. The draw will take place at around 7pm before the game v Newton Aycliffe.

The sold out Christmas Luncheon with Mark Crossley is this coming Friday from 1pm and after two away games  during the next two Saturday’s at Consett on the 26th November and Dunston on the 2nd December, it then becomes a full on Christmas celebration with most of the December action at Stoke Lane.

The Millers are at home to Cleethorpes on Tuesday 5th December and Liversage on Saturday 9th December before an away game that will be a real Christmas party, the away trip to Sheffield on Saturday 16th December.
As mentioned above, it’s then back to Stoke Lane for the home fixture v Newton Aycliffe on Tuesday 19th December and the big Christmas draw for another home fixture on Saturday 23rd December when Pontefract Collieries visit the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

To bring the year to a conclusion, Carlton are at home again on Friday 29th December when Grimsby Borough visit Stoke Lane.
