BRIAN TARGET SMASHES THROUGH THE £500 TARGET AS FAMILY GIVE FUNERAL UPDATE!
The Just Giving page set up in the name of the much loved but sadly late Brian Dennett as not only hit, but now passed it’s £500 target, sitting at £550 as we go to press.
His sister Lynn and son Alex have both spoken to Millers Chairman Mick Garton to express their heartfelt thanks.
Donations can still be made to Brian’s final fund raiser for the club by going to https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/briandennett-carltontownfc-1
The funeral is being streamed live due to government restrictions only allowing 30 people to attend. Here is the link https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QR7APEklmPM
The Hearse will put into the Bill Stokeld Stadium just after 12 midday on Tuesday and the family have asked that those at the club able to attend the funeral join in with the guard of honour at the ground, along with those that sadly can’t attend, before following down to the church.
The funeral is at 12.30pm on Tuesday 23rd April at St Pauls Church Carlton.
Anyone who wants to attend the guard of honour is welcome, with social distancing needing to be respected and the family have reminded everyone to ware face coverings.
It will no doubt be a very emotional day with an equally emotional one to follow when the club hold their own remembrance and tribute following the lifting of restrictions.
