BROOKBANKS MAKES SENSATIONAL RETURN TO STOKE LANE AND HARVEY JOINS HIM TO!
Carlton Town’s most successful ever manager Tommy Brookbanks has today made a sensational return to the club he previously managed for 14 years in which he achieved 5 promotions and he has been joined by the equally impressive Mark Harvey and the two of them with jointly try and revive the fortunes of the Millers who have spent the last 5 seasons in the lower reaches of their division.
Brookbanks was the number one target for the club after it was revealed he had left Basford United, where he had been Vice Chairman and then Director of Football.
The bonus for the club is that not only have they secured Tommy’s return but also secured Mark Harvey and the two of them have started work immediately.
This website understands the duo will enhance opportunities for the clubs youngsters and work closely with the Academy as well as seeking to bring in new signings and are determined to play football easy on the eye for supporters.
There were Commitee members and supporters at the ground today to greet the duo and this website also understands that there will be follow up announcements in the coming days and weeks as Chairman Mick Garton works with his backroom staff and Brookbanks and Harvey to not only change fortunes on the pitch, but also address the need to bring in new blood off the pitch.

It was a busy day at Stoke Lane with money being raised for the mental health charity Mind and there was a decent turnout for the Charity match taking part on the main pitch.
