BUSY WEEK AHEAD FINISHING WITH DRAGON EVENT THREE!
Carlton Town fixtures continue to come thick and fast and a Monday night visit to Basford United for a league cup local Derby kicks things off for Tommy and Mark this week.
Both teams have had excellent starts to the new campaign with Carlton top of Bet Victor Division one South East and Basford second in the Bet Victor premier Division.
Carlton then have another massive test in the league next Saturday when high flying Sheffield Fc visit Stoke Lane in a rearranged fixture.
Finally, the action moves to the Dragon on Long Row for the third Dj fundraising event next Sunday 22nd September from 2pm and Josh Hodgson, Alan Murphy and Mick Garton are pictured at the first event earlier this year.
Josh Hodgson opens things up at 2pm with Alan Murphy following with his unique brand of music at 2.45pm.
Chairman Mick Garton will move things into the eighties at 3.30pm, before the big raffle draw and Soul and Motown man Gary Hitchcock brings things to a close with his set.
Donations are welcomed to support the event again and there will be a fund raising raffle with some excellent prizes.
A number of players have said they will come and support the afternoon and new Vice Chairman Barry North is among those expected to attend for what should prove to be an excellent social event at the iconic city centre location.
Money constantly needs spending at the Bill Stokeld stadium and while the money raised at the last event went towards the pitch, money raised this time will go towards one or two other issues needing urgent attention inside the ground.
