On Friday at Oakmere Park, Roger Smith heads up one of the key events in the annual Carlton Town calendar, the Carlton town Golf Day.

A fantastic prize indeed and Chairman Mick Garton will be on hand to sell the raffle tickets and Lou Lardi will be on photography duty for this cracking event.

On Saturday, it’s back to Stoke Lane for a particularly poignant afternoon, Jackie North’s memorial game v Shepshed Dynamoe, a fitting game against a team Jackie had an association with in her many years being involved in local non league Football.

Our Vice President has left us, but will never be forgotten and Joe Standon is a making a special effort to produce a fitting match day Programme to commemorate the Carlton Town Duchess.

Barry North has taken out the main Sponsorship packages for the game in honour of his beloved wife and how !

kick off on Saturday is 3pm at Stoke Lane with admission at £6 Adults, £4 Concessions and £1 under 16s.

The build up to the weekend comes after a 2-0 win at Hucknall Town at their cracking new stadium in an entertaining encounter on Tuesday night.

Tommy Brookbanks spoke to Carlton Town Tv on the pitch straight after the game.
