BUSY WEEKEND ON AND OFF THE PITCH FOR CARLTON TOWN!

One thing that has been a given during Carlton’s many years now at this level, is that they will play Sheffield every season, as they have also remained at this level throughout that period and it is always one of the most fiercely contested games of the campaign.

There is no particular pattern of results, Carlton have had some good wins at Sheffield, Sheffield have had some good wins at Carlton and the away fixture normally gets postponed the first time round.

One big difference this season is that both teams are flying high at the right end of the table giving the fixture even more significance.

Sunday will see many of the Carlton faithful appear at the iconic Nottingham City Centre Pub, The Dragon on Long Row.

Supporters chief Alan Murphy, former Press Officer Josh Hodgson, Chairman Mick Garton and Soul and Motown Dj Gary Hitchcock will be appearing in what will be the third of these events, which have raised vital funds for the Millers.

A raffle with a first prize of two places in a corporate box for a game at Nottingham Forest and lots of Thorntons Chocolates will be drawn around 4.30pm and the club are hoping all attending will have a go on the draw and are welcoming donations.

The fun starts at 2pm and the club are hoping for a decent turnout with admission free.
