CARLTON MAKE IT TWO OUT OF TWO WITH SUTTON COLDFIELD VICTORY!

Wednsesday 21st August was the night Tommy Brookbanks returned to the competitive dugout at Carlton Town, alongside his partner in crime and new joint manager Mark Harvey and they along with the players delivered on the big stage to defeat Sutton Coldfield Town 1-0, to make it 2 wins out of 2 and 2 clean sheets for the Millers.

A crowd of 105 gave a warm welcome to the new joint managers and players, conscious of the fact Carlton had only won two home games during the 2018/2019 season.

Well Carlton have already got one home win on the board, courtesy of a Tom Maddison (pictured) penalty after a handball and that came hot on the heels of Saturday’s 2-0 win at Lincoln United.

Carlton Town Tv were in the stadium and apart from catching footage from the game, roving reporter Gaz Bee was on hand at the final whistle to speak to Martin Ball who had an outstanding game at the back and joint manager Mark Harvey.

Gaz Bees interview’s are never conventional and never boring and we look forward to hearing what Martin and Dave have to say.

Carlton have started  their league campaign with two wins out of two and look forward to a trip to Kidsgrove on bank holiday Monday.
