CARLTON PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS TO GET ACADEMY GAME ON THIS WEDNESDAY AND NEWS UPDATE FROM STOKE LANE!

Carlton Town have pulled out all the stops to ensure this Wednesday’s Academy game v Leek Town can go ahead.

The game clashes with Carlton’s first team fixture against Loughborough Dynamo which we can confirm will take place with a 7.45pm kick off at Stoke Lane this Wednesday 5th February.

Carlton Town have hired Long Eaton United’s 4g pitch so their Academy fixture can go ahead at 1pm and have also paid Long Eaton United to provide the after match catering.

Carlton have also booked a Mini Bus for the players which will depart Stoke Lane at 11am and return from Long Eaton at 3.30pm and have also employed the Long Eaton first team physio Charlotte Kirkpatrick for the game as the club’s new Academy Physio Jamie Hodgson is on holiday.

A lot of work has gone into organising this and it has been far from straightforward, but Carlton would like to thank in particular Paul Holland at Long Eaton for all his help.

In other news from the ground, this website understands 44 tickets have already been snapped up for the evening with John O Hare on Friday 20th March which was only announced last week.

There was no winner again on Tote and the prize roles over to an estimated £1,200 and Chairman Mick Garton will have the Tote book at Wednesday’s game v Loughborough and is asking supporters if they would be good enough to bring payments wherever possible up to date.

Finally the club can confirm they are having a shirt prepared with Jordan Sinnott 25 on the back in line with many other clubs in the country, following the Matlock Town players terrible death.
