CARLTON WAITING ON FITNESS TESTS, LINDLEYS SIGN GOES UP AND AGM ANNOUNCED!

With only days to go till the start of the season, Carlton’s Tommy Brookbanks admitted the make up of the team on Saturday for the opening game in the Fa Cup, wound depend on several players overcoming injury issues and it was too early to give an indication of the starting line up.

Brookbanks admitted he will not be to finalise the side for Saturday, until after Thursday’s final training session.

He spoke briefly to us, following a fruitful meeting at the ground with Chairman Mick Garton and Vice Chairman Barry North to finalise plans ahead of the new campaign.

Meanwhile, home kit sponsors Lindleys finally got their new advertising board  (pictured) up in the corner of the Bill Stokeld Stadium,  which also recognised Central Fire and Security’s continued support of the club by way of advertising in that position, something they have done for the last 3 years.

The club are delighted that Lindleys have finally got the outstanding and prominent sign in place with the new season only days away.

Coach Dan Goddard meanwhile, who is taking his coaching badges and assisting Paul Rockley and also brilliantly helping out with the clubs maintanance has today been sponsored by Total Reclaims Ltd meaning yet another new kit support sponsor for the club.

A big thankyou to them and finally news of the clubs AGM which will take place on Tuesday 20th August at 6pm at the Bill Stokeld Stadium in the Chuck Fowler Suite at  which accounts  for the  2018-2019 season will be revealed.
