AUCTION TOPS 3k, CHARITY EVENT PROGRAMMES ARRIVE AND A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM JONNY OWEN AND LINE OF DUTY STAR VICKY McCLURE!
It is all systems go for the big “World Game Changers, Carlton Town Fc Charity event on Sunday 30th May with the Programmes which will be given to people as they come through the gates arriving this weekend and news that the auction has today achieved over £3,000 in bids.
With Raffle sales already over 2k, this means that an incredible £5,000 plus as already been raised by Boatsy and his team. It is a remarkable effort and with two weeks to go to the big day, Notts Cricketer Luke Fletcher who is in fantastic form for his County at present put out a message earlier which appears on our twitter feed urging people to come support the big day.
Fletcher who recently appeared at the ground with Samit Patel as a cracking guest speaker is hoping to be there himself, but that will depend on wether Notts game at Warwickshire has been concluded.
The programme has a space on the back for those attending to capture some autographs and there are a decent number of well known local stars , particularly from the world of sport attending including boxer Leigh Wood and former Forest stars such as Andy Reid, Marlon Harewood and John Thompson set to appear and it was also announced this week that Sky TV’s Clinton Morrison would also be starring for the celebrity team managed by none other than Charlie McFarland.
Talksports Jonny Owen is another racing back from London after doing his Sunday morning show for what promises to be a memorable afternoon and Jonny and his partner Line of duty Star Vicky McClure have posted a special message for you all.
Vicky as also kindly donated a prize for the auction, a framed montage of the show’s big three stars personally signed by herself.
