CLAYTON MOTT STEP UP TO SPONSOR UNDER 17S AND CHAIRMAN PRAISE FOR BROOKBANKS AND HARVEY!
Carlton Town are delighted to announce that Carlton Town under 17s will be presented with their new kits on the pitch at half time on Saturday by their new sponsors Clayton Mott Solicitors and all involved with that, will be the very special guests of the club for Carlton Town v Frickley.
Carlton will be hoping to make it a fantastic 4 wins from 4 after winning their first 3 games in an incredible start to the season with new managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey at the wheel.
Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton spoke to us today and admitted the start had been every bit as good as any of us could have hoped for.
“Massive praise to Tommy and Mark, their coaching team and of course the players for our fantastic league start, 3 wins from 3, clean sheets , attractive football and plenty of endeavour”
“That’s a formula for a decent season and although we are certainly not getting carried away, it would be a lie to say we are not excited by the prospect of a reasonable campaign”
“Mark Steggles attending two away games tells it’s own Story, 30 season tickets sold which I know bigger clubs will laugh at, but from 10 to 30 shows a club’s moving in the right direction”
“We will look at different initiatives during matchdays over the course of the season to see what we can add to the Matchday experience”
” We are looking at a guest Ale for a game soon, a Motown Dj for a game and a deal for Supporters attending games early”
” We know Tommy and Mark won’t lead us to victory in every game, but boy it’s a decent start and we need to enjoy it and embrace it throughout the season, which ever way results go” concluded the Chairman.
Carlton Town Tv will be at the ground Saturday to capture the highlights, the presentation and speak with one or two key figures as the Carlton Town rehabilitation rolls on !
Nobody is happier than Sarah Tongue, delighted that the first team is doing so well and extremely grateful to new sponsors Clayton Mott!
