CLUB ALLOCATIONS REVEALED AS CLUB GEARS UP FOR BIG AFTERNOON AT THE DRAGON.
The morning started well for Carlton Town with confirmation that they had been reprieved from relegation and that they will have two new local Derby’s next season with both Ilkeston Town and Worksop Town joining them in the newly named Northern Premier League South East Division.
A full list of the teams Carlton will be up against next season has been announced and put out for supporters through our Twitter feed.
Meanwhile attention turns to the iconic Dragon pub in Nottingham City Centre this afternoon when five DJ’s produce sets that will hopefully help fill the venue and raise the £1,500 needed to carry out work this summer on the Millers home pitch.
There is no charge to come in but the club will be holding a raffle with prizes including 2 seats for a game in an Executive Box at Nottingham Forest in the early part of the 2019/2020 season, a Castle Rock Brewery Tour, a signed John Robertson piece of memorabilia kindly donated by the Navigation Brewery, a bungee jump kindly donated by Jamie Huckerby and tickets to yum yum world along with the usual mix of Chocolate and wine etc.
The last Dragon event raised £1,060 and landlady Aunit is pictured drawing out the winning tickets with Chairman Mick Garton, so the boys have it all to do to get bodies in, sell tickets and accept donations and we will reveal the amount raised after the gig.
The next 24 hours will also see the eagerly awaited Carlton Town Tv interview with goalkeeper Jack Steggles explaining why he is now staying at Stoke Lane.
It promises to to be a fun packed 24 hours with Tommy Brookbanks the very special guest and Mark Harvey also hoping to be in attendance later in the afternoon.
