CLUB CAPTAIN AND STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICER LAUNCH NEW SUPER FOOTBALL CARD

With the new academic year upon us , the Millers have embarked upon internal redecoration of the Brian Dennett suite and put new locks and doors to other rooms at the ground, the internal gates at the side of the main turnstiles are also broke and need replacing urgently.

Work has begun on what is a never ending cycle of maintenance at the Bill Stokeld Stadium and to help with the extra costs, Club Captain Niall Davie and Strategic Development Officer Dave Hodgson have helped with the launch of a new super Football Card with a prize of £500 for the winner and £500 raised for the club towards the £1,000 plus costs of the extra maintenance.

Fantastic Club Sponsor Tom Hughes of Aerocom won the last prize which was announced on Saturday 19th August and Davie and Hodgson were the first to get behind the new card to help the club, but also give someone a cracking prize.

The Club Captain picked Portsmouth and Dave picked Manchester City and Millwall to get things rolling and the Commercial team will give the Carlton Town Family the chance to have a go at the next home game at the usual £10 a team.

In the coming days, Carlton will launch the auction section of the new online shop to showpiece and hopefully sell some Memorabilia donated by long time supporter Dave Perrin on a 50/50 basis and other donated by Boatsy on 07907 064189 and the Chairman.
