CLUB COMFIRM SANJ BERI FOR MERTHYR TOWN GAME !

Carlton Town are on all systems go for their first home friendly on Saturday 24th July when Merthyr Town are the visitors to Stoke Lane.

Final work on the pitch is going ahead this week and a Matchday Programme is being prepared for this historic fixture.

New Programme Editor Josh Hodgson has comfirmed there will be articles from Vice Chairman Barry North, Supporters chief Alan Murphy and a special contribution from Phil Jennings, given his Merthyr connection. Merthyr have also today comfirmed they will contribute to the programme.

The big news however is that the club have booked Dj Sanj Beri who so entertained the crowd at the recent Charity event and he will be playing on the Millers patio from 1pm till 3pm.

The big game kicks off at 3pm and this website can today comfirm that the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar will show the first Rugby Union Test match between South Africa and The British and Irish Lions which is at Cape Town with a 5pm start.

The Millers have secured Matchball sponsorship from Danny’s Tattoo Parlour, programme Sponsorship from Old School Football Clothing Ltd and Man of the Match Sponsorship from Boatsy who as also made a donation to the club for his lad to be the Matchday Mascot.

Admission to the game is £6 Adults, £4 Concessions and £2 kids.

The club are now looking for a Matchball sponsor for their 2nd and 3rd home friendlies on 31st July when they take on AFC Shildon and on 7th August when they play Frickley Fc.
