DANNY ELLIOT AND CALLUM KEANE RETURN TO STOKE LANE!

Carlton Town’s Tommy Brookbanks has returned from holiday and after meeting up with joint manager Mark Harvey who has been overseeing the first few training sessions, Brookbanks comfirmed that Danny Elliot and Callum Keane have returned to Stoke Lane.
Elliot ( pictured) became a club legend following his Johan Cruyff turn and finish at Meadow Lane in the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup Final in 2017 helping Carlton beat Basford United 4-1 in one of their greatest ever victories, but the popular midfielder left Stoke Lane prior to the beginning of last season and after recovering from a groin injury spent the back end of last season playing for Gedling Miners Welfare.
Elliot is known to be one of the first players targeted by the new management duo following the departure of Wayne Scott and Brookbanks has also revealed that Callum Keane will also be returning to Stoke Lane.
Keane was a graceful midfielder in his previous time at Stoke Lane, but Brookbanks has also watched him play impressively at Centre half where he is more than capable of putting in commanding performances particularly given his ability in the air.
Elliot and Keane will join Martin Ball, Jack Steggles, Oliver Clark and Kyle Stovell as comfirmed players for the new season following early training sessions.
Brookbanks comfirmed other announcements will come thick and fast in the build up to the new season.
The new management duo will be taking a Carlton Town X1 to Rainworth Miners Welfare 3pm this coming Saturday before a Notts County X1 visits Stoke Lane on Tuesday 9th July 7.45pm.
Brookbanks will also give his thoughts on that in the next 24 hours.
