DUNSTON GAME NOW AT STOKE LANE THIS SATURDAY LEAGUE ANNOUNCE

Carlton Town, weather permitting of course have been involved in a major fixture switch with Dunston now visiting Stoke Lane this Saturday 10th February.

With bad weather forecast in particular for the North East and Dunston already behind more than most with their fixtures, Carlton offered to switch the fixture and play at Stoke Lane as although the weather is bad in Nottinghamshire, it potentially has more chance of being played at Stoke Lane.

There are negatives in this for the Millers with the away fixture now being played on Non League day 23rd March which usually brings one of the big attendances of the season and the obvious clash with Nottingham Forest this Saturday, but the club are looking at the bigger picture of getting fixtures played whenever possible.

With Forest kicking off at 5.30pm however, Carlton who have many supporters who support both clubs are hoping a fair few will do a double header and with the Millers scheduled to finish around 4.50pm, there is time indeed for fans to get to the City Ground.

The club will then show the Forest v Newcastle game in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar after the  Carlton v Dunston clash and Carlton are hoping a few Notts County fans will also come and support them.

The short notice means work is going on behind the scenes to put a programme together and ensure the club has enough staff on duty, given some people have already made other arrangements.

A big thanks to Charlie Clarke for sponsoring the programme and once again weather permitting, it now means Carlton have two home games in three days with Pontefract Collieries the visitors on Tuesday and a big thanks to to MSR Newsgroup and Barry North who have taken packages for that game.
