FANTASTIC FOODBANK COLLECTION BUT WORKSOP PROVE TO GOOD FOR MILLERS!

The Boxing Day Foodbank collection proved yet another success story, so a massive thankyou to everyone who donated to this worthy community cause. Councillor Nicki Brookes representing the local food bank is pictured with a number of Carlton Town Sponsors, Kelly Marie Mortgage Solutions, Motors for you and Lymms Funeral Directors, a massive Thankyou to all three companies for their fantastic support this season.

Unfortunately for the Millers, they could not replicate the success on the pitch against the League leaders. Carlton started well and looked like they were set to give Worksop a really tough game, but unfortunately once again, Carlton failed to capitalise on a good start and the opposition were ruthless when they then created opportunities.

It has been a disappointing first half of the season with the Millers sitting 18th in the table and Tommy and Mark will be hoping they can use the start of 2023 to kick start a climb up the table.

A trip to Long Eaton United on Monday 2nd January for another local Derby is next up, before Grimsby Borough visit Stoke Lane on Saturday 7th January.

Joint Manager Mark Harvey spoke to Carlton Town Tv after the game and his interview with Josh Hodgson is below.
