FOOD BANK, CHRISTMAS DRAW, £500 SUPERCARD DRAW AND THE SMALL MATTER OF AN IMPORTANT FOOTBALL MATCH

Tuesday 19th December is set to be a massive night in the Carlton Town Christmas calendar with lots going on at Stoke Lane on Matchnight.

Ian Storey-Moore is our very special guest and Ian will be carrying out the annual Christmas draw at around 7pm.

If any players, management, supporters or committee have any tickets left, please bring them along so we can sell them on the night.

Please everyone bring all the stubs and money along for the draw which is set to take place soon after 7pm.

The Club are also carrying out their annual collection for the Netherfield Christmas Foodbank at Tuesday nights game and ask supporters to bring their donations to the DJ decks in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.

Mick and Boatsy between them have nearly filled the £500 Super football card and the plan is also to draw this on the night, so someone will have the £500 prize in their bank account for Christmas.

Jane Bryson is bringing along some home made mince pies and tarts, which for many is actually the main event.

Prizes for the big draw are as follows

1. Two places in 1865 Corporate Hospitality for Forest v Bournemouth this Saturday.

2 Four Ball Ramsdale Golf course.

3 £60 Voucher Staunton Arms.

4 £50 Voucher Marco Pierre White.

5 £50 Voucher Amores Gedling

6 £50 Voucher Boot Room, West Bridgford

7 Two 20/20 Blast tickets for a game at Trent Bridge in 2024

8 £30 Voucher Bombay, West Bridgford

9 Two pint pitcher and Two pizzas at Southbank Nottingham

10.£20  Nando’s Gift card.

We also have a huge Chocolate bar, a big box of Chocolates , some wine and two bonus prizes at the end for the last two tickets to be drawn out , two cracking hampers, one we understand is from Haribo.

Once again we have reached our target of 20 prizes and the club would like to thank everyone who has donated prizes to this important club fundraiser.

Finally we also have the actual and main event which is Carlton Town v Newton Aycliffe for the first ever time to the best of our knowledge at Stoke Lane with a 7.45pm kick off and Carlton are hoping for both a good turn out and to build on Saturday’s excellent 2-0 win at Sheffield Fc.

Chairman Mick Garton is pictured in the Boot Room collecting the £50 voucher donated by landlord and big friend of the club Mark James and wow, what a Christmas feel the Boot Room has.
