FORMER CLUB VOLUNTEER BEN DOING HIS BIT FOR FOOTBALL CHARITY !

This website will tomorrow start the build up to Saturday’s big game at home to Halesowen which takes on extra significance, given Carlton’s 4-1 defeat at Ilkeston last Saturday.

For now however, we thought it important to highlight some great charity work being done by one of our former volunteers Ben Chambers.

Ben doubled up as Marketing Manager and programme editor during the 2019- 2020 season and also helped with the club’s social Media.

Ben was involved in a fundraiser at the weekend for Bloomsbury Football in London in an attempt to provide football for kids , who otherwise could not afford to get involved due to poor financial situations at home.

He has put out a plea for help and told us

“Please help to secure the future of Bloomsbury Football Foundation: a London-based charity who use football to change the lives of 5,000 young people per week.
They aim to raise £500,000 — funds which will allow them to extend vital support to those children who need it most.

All donations up to £250,000 will be matched: a £100 donation makes £225 of impact! All proceeds will be used to ensure that Bloomsbury can continue providing safe, affordable and high-quality support to London’s most vulnerable children”
