FORMER FOREST MANAGER FOR THE BIG CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON SPONSORED ONCE AGAIN BY CASTLE ROCK.
Carlton Town are delighted to announce that former Nottingham Forest manager Paul Hart will be their very special guest for their Annual Christmas Luncheon on Friday 6th December from 1pm.
Tickets to include a 2 course Christmas dinner are once again £40 each and the club are ecstatic to have secured the former Nottingham Forest manager.
Hart played for the club under the legendary Brian Clough and was part of the team cheated out of a UEFA Cup Final by Anderlect who paid off a referee to ensure Forest lost a crucial European semi final.
Hart later went on to manage Forest and took them to the playoffs before a gut wrenching semi final defeat at Sheffield United. He then saw his excellent side ripped apart by cost cutting before finally harshly losing his job.
He more recently was at Notts County on the coaching team as the Magpies struggled to survive a financial crisis and is now at Stoke City.
He has coached at numerous clubs and is considered one of the best Academy coaches in the country and was the Forest manager who was good enough to bring a side down to the ground to turn on the clubs floodlights some 19 years ago, a game featured at the time on Trent Fm with Jo and Twiggy broadcasting live from Stoke Lane.
The event is once again being sponsored by Castle Rock with back up from main club sponsors Msr Newsgroup and Academy shirt sponsors Sporting Hearts.
The Christmas Luncheon is a legendary event in the club’s calendar and securing Hart will hopefully lead to another fantastic afternoon.
Anyone wanting to secure tickets can speak to the Chairman or Vice Chairman at the ground on Matchday, call the club’s office on 0015 987135 or email the club at info@carltontownfc.co.uk
