FRANK CLARK LOVED BY THE NORTH EAST AND NOTTINGHAM AT STOKE LANE LOVE IN!

Carlton Town may not have enjoyed the travelling  they have been subjected to this season, but one positive that has come out, is the hospitality and friendly welcomes they have generally received in the North East of the country and the friendly fans that have visited Stoke Lane.

None more so than on Saturday when North Shields were the visitors to Stoke Lane. Although obviously limited in numbers due to the distance , their fans were a credit to North Shields and were in great form in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar both before the game and after.

The club has been contacted by a number of away fans on social media and directly to tell us, it was their most enjoyable away trip to date.

That joy was not just down to the result, but because of the excellent Matchday programme, the outstanding pre match entertainment with Frank Clark and the general welcome given them by our board and supporters club.
