HALLOWEEN OFFER CARRIED OVER FOR NEWTON AYCLIFFE CLASH !

After the disappointment of seeing the second midweek game at Stoke Lane on the bounce called off due to a waterlogged pitch, Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton and Vice Chairman Barry North along with Boatsy, Gav and Kerry and a number of supporters made a point of going down to Stoke Lane on Tuesday evening to look at the brillant work Kelly and Kerry etc had put in to decorating the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.

There was also the small matter of the Dorking branch coming down as Programme sponsors on the night and the group felt it only right and proper to come and have a beer with them after their long journey.

A few still turned up in fancy dress , adults included (see photo) and the club are delighted to announce that decorations will be left in place , under 16s will be admitted free on Saturday and the free Halloween sweet give away for kids will still happen and the best Halloween costume competition will still happen, all be it this Saturday rather than Tuesday.

There is obviously still a chance Saturday’s game could be off given the weather forecast, but Chris  the Groundsman and the club will do everything possible to get the game on if at all possible.

Former West Midlands Police Detective Superintendent Gary Campbell is our very special guest and  everyone connected with the club is crossing their fingers, Stoke Lane will not suffer the worse of the predicted storm.
