HEANOR HATRICK HERO SIGNS FOR THE MILLERS AND IT’S MALTBY MAIN IN THE FA CUP !

Carlton Town with several first team regulars missing played out their final pre season friendly at Stoke Lane and went down 2-1 to an impressive looking Frickley.

Natt Watson had given the Millers a first half league with a fantastic curling effort, but Frickley took control in the second half to run out 2-1 winners.

News of a new signing however was breaking after the game and we can reveal that trialist Louis Czerwak who scored a hatrick in a friendly against Heanor last week and the winner against Shildon last Saturday has joined the Millers.

The youngster has joined the club from Chesterfield and Joint manager Tommy Brookbanks believes with the right kind of service, Louis can make a real impact in the forthcoming season.

Louis becomes available for Sponsorship on the day that captain Tom Maddison became the latest player to get a sponsor with Automation Gates Services and Repairs Ltd stepping forward.

The Millers also discovered who they will be playing in the Fa Cup with Maltby Main defeating Barton Town 3-2 in Yorkshire, Carlton will make the trip to Maltby on Saturday 21st August and their will be a limited amount of seats available for supporters on the official club coach booked for the trip at just £10 each, further details to follow.

Carlton start their season with a tough local derby at Shepshed Dynamos on Saturday 14th August before their first game at Stoke Lane on Tuesday 17th August when Bedworth United are the visitors.
