HOME FORM DILEMMA FOR DEFEATED MILLERS !

Carlton Town went down to their second home defeat of the week after completely dominating the majority of the first half and taking an early 2-0 lead.

Carlton were excellent in the early exchanges and played some cracking football and a header from Brad Wells and a penalty from Arron O’Connor after he had been cleaned out by the Sheffield keeper gave the Millers that 2-0 lead.

Another goal for Carlton one feels would have put the game to bed , but it was Sheffield who pulled one back before the break and they came out in the second half a different team.

Nat Watson threw his body in the way of a cross in the second half , but unfortunately for Carlton , the ball had struck his hand and Sheffield scored the resulting penalty although the penalty taker appeared to lose his footing and connect with the ball twice, Carlton appealed with a passion to the referee but he awarded the goal.

Sheffield were now in the ascendency and a deflected goal and a killer 4th put the game to bed and the Millers will be disappointed with their second half showing and it was not something Tommy Brookbanks shyed away from when he spoke to Carlton Town Tv after the 4-2 defeat.

A massive thankyou to VIP guest John o’ Hare pictured with Mad Gav, who massively enjoyed his afternoon at Stoke Lane and also spoke to Carlton Town Tv after the game, he was a brilliant guest indeed !

Also a massive thankyou from Kelly for all the bucket donations from both sets of fans and she will let us know what was raised in due course to boost her weeks fund raising for Forever Stars which involved her walking 26 Miles on Friday.

Carlton are back in action on Tuesday when they will attempt to address their home form blues with close neighbours Southwell the visitors to Stoke Lane for the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.

Admission fees have been reduced to £6 Adults, £4 concessions and £2 kids for Tuesday’s game 7.45pm.

The Interviews with both Tommy and John o’Hare are below !
