INCREDIBLE 4K RAISED FOR RAINBOWS IN WONDERFUL AFTERNOON AT STOKE LANE

Carlton Town have staged some fantastic Charity events over the years, but make no mistake the event held for Rainbows Hospice on bank Holiday Sunday at the Bill Stokeld Stadium was right up there.

Donations were made by way of players playing, donations on the gate and the most amazing Raffle ever held at the ground with some fantastic prizes indeed and team Mrs Vish with the donation bucket.

The game finished 3-3 , but the big news was that a staggering £4,000 was raised for the Rainbows Hospice.

The game held in memory of Andy and Sarah’s Daughter Isabelle who sadly passed away on her 15th birthday in June, attracted a crowd of approximately 200 and the weather gods played fair and both parents made a point of thanking the Millers Chairman and Boatsy along with the club’s fantastic volunteers who were among those who turned out to support the day.

Among those was the most important possibly of all, The Miller Mouse who the kids attending absolutely loved and of course the two local Football legends (whom are pictured chatting away outside the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar ) Colin Barrett and Charlie McParland who managed the two teams on the day and of course Arun from Radio Nottingham who could well have scored the winner, had he put his shooting boots on!

Carlton Town Tv were also at the event and highly respected reporter John Bryson, himself formerly with the Metropolitan Police spoke to Andy Wilson and Former Forest star Paul Mcgregor who scored a magical goal, which John sadly failed to mention, but after the game they both spoke brilliantly to our inquisitive reporter.

CONGRATULATIONS AND THANKYOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED, WHAT A TRULY FANTASTIC AFTERNOON!
