INTERVIEWS GALORE AND BRILLIANT RESPONSE TO KIT SUPPORT!
Normally after a weekend football match, the result would be the thing featured in the headline, but there is literally so much going on at Carlton Town at the moment and so much more to report.
Tommy Brookbanks made it clear early on that players would be made available to Carlton Town Tv on an ongoing basis and he has been true to his word and Carlton Town Tv secured interviews with new captain Tom Maddison along with two other new signings, Tyler Johal and Dan Brown following the 4-0 win against Belper United in the club’s final home friendly.
Those interviews and one with Tommy Brookbanks himself are being released by Carlton Town Tv and make for interesting hearing as Neil Ward on this occasion impressively asks the questions.
There as also been a fantastic response to kit support, with supporters stimulated by the new management team and the appointment of Barry North as Vice Chairman, really getting behind the club.
Supporters and Sponsors have also expressed delight that the players are now going to get much more involved with the clubs fund raising efforts, particularly with the bike ride being announced to coincide with the Dj set on Sunday 22nd September.
In a nutshell Mick and Barry were inundated with people pledging to help at Saturday’s friendly and they have received Sponsorship for the following.
New Captain Tom Maddison has been sponsored by John White, impressive youngster Oliver Clark has been sponsored by Wayne Murray and Centre half Toby Moore by Dave Perrin.
Dave Hodgson followed up by Sponsoring Mamoke Akuna and Chairman Mick Garton has agreed to step aside and allow Gary North to sponsor Paul Rockley, but in return he has committed to sponsoring two new comers in Dan Brown (pictured), who has been now both been interviewed and sponsored in one weekend and also youngster Chris Marshall.
The frenzy of activity means 17 out of the 25 player / coaches sponsoring opportunities have gone before the season even starts.
With so much happening at the club, we will continue to provide regular updates as we receive them and we know, Mick, Barry, Roger, Tommy and Mark and all the Senior management at the club are extremely grateful to everyone getting behind this new chapter in the club’s history.
