IT’S ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR THE FIREWORK EXTRAVAGANZA!

Despite the weather not being particularly kind to Carlton Town today, we are delighted to report that all the Fairground attractions and stalls who committed to the day are turning up at the ground and setting up to make it another memorable evening at Stoke Lane.

The Vortex Tunnel, the most popular attraction we have had at the ground for the special night returns and is already in place, having come over all the way from Ireland.

There is an Electronic beat the goalkeeper, the Bungie Trampoline which proved popular last year and this year there will be a Donut stand, a fudge stand , Chocolates, Bbq with special Burgers and Sausages from master Butcher’s Clive Lancaster and of course the Clubhouse Bar will be open with Draught beer, Real Ale options and Soft Drinks with teas and coffees available at the snack bar along with chip cobs etc.

A Tombola, a cake stall and a penalty shootout competition are also on tonight’s menu.

There will be the chance to win two places in a Corporate box at Nottingham Forest for a game in the new year in tonight’s raffle draw which will take place in the Clubhouse at 8pm and the Fireworks will follow soon after.

If the rain does continue, there are plenty of covered areas to enjoy the Fireworks both indoor and out.

Admission on the gate tonight is £18 for a family of 2 Adults and up to 3 Children, £7 Adults and £4 children and the club are hoping plenty will turn up to support the various Showground workers and volunteers who are braving the elements.
