LAST GASP AGONY FOR FIGHTBACK MILLERS AND CHAIRMAN HEADS TO NOTTS TV.

LAST GASP AGONY FOR FIGHTBACK MILLERS AND CHAIRMAN HEADS TO NOTTS TV.

Carlton Town suffered the heartbreak of going down 3-2 in stoppage time after coming back from 2-0 down to Loughborough Dynamo at Stoke Lane.

It brings to an end Carlton’s latest winning three game spell and came amid angry exchanges at the end of the game with the Carlton contingent convinced Loughborough were lucky to end the match with 11 men.

Two particular nasty challenges on Aaron Opoku and Niall Davie  had raised tempers during the game and there appeared to be a booking on the Carlton bench following the challenge on Davie as the Carlton managers vented their anger, indeed Loughborough did have seven men booked, but they had the last laugh, with the late winner.

Karl Demidh had proved the hero for Loughborough with that late late goal, but he was sent off after the final whistle while Tyler Blake picked up a yellow card after the game as well.

Loughborough shaded the first half, but neither keeper was really troubled until Curtis Burrows converted a penalty just before the break.

Loughborough made it two just after the break, with that man Burrows again from close range, before Carlton launched their excellent fightback with goals from Arron Opoku and Oliver Clark.

Carlton are now 7th in Bet Victor Division One South East and will hoping to get back to winning ways, when they visit Wisbech on Saturday.

Tonight sees the draw of the quarter final of the Notts Senior Cup and Chairman Mick Garton will be at Notts Tv as a guest , with the draw expected at about 6.15pm going out live.
