LATEST ON CHRISTMAS DRAW AND BOXING DAY FIXTURE!

Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton has given us a statement regarding the Christmas draw and the Boxing Day game with Ilkeston.

“First of all I would like to apologise for problems with the Msr App this week which have prevented some supporters from buying Christmas draw tickets, the server has been working hard behind the scenes and we are hopeful of coming up with a solution by Monday morning to at least allow sales on line Monday and Tuesday before the Tuesday night draw, Andy is equally apologetic and exasperated and hopefully good news is around the corner”

“Equally I would like to thank all of you whom have rung 0115 9581735 and brought tickets over the phone and that option remains open until Tuesday teatime come what may”

“Even though the Clubhouse is closed, I am planning to get down to the ground on Tuesday to conduct the draw and will have tickets available on the night, if anyone wants to pop their head around the door, exact details to follow”

“Finally, I can comfirm we are in consultation with our own management team and Ilkeston in terms of deciding the best way forward in terms of the scheduled Boxing Day fixture with Ilkeston”

“It has been a fast moving picture in the last few days with many teams stating an understandable reluctance to play games in the current climate and following Boris Johnson’s shock statement this evening, it has obviously left many people increasingly nervous, confused and not having a clue what to do next”

“When we have something to report, we will do it as quickly as possible and we accept decisions need to be made quickly for a whole number of reasons, watch this space !”
