LIONS MAKE IT TEN FROM TEN AND STUART SCOTT STEPS UP TO SUPPORT LOUGHBOROUGH GAME!

Carlton Town Lions under 17s playing in the under 18s league, made it ten out of ten wins to top the table at the weekend and next weekend play in the quarter final of the League Cup at The Carlton Forum against Pinxton in one of their biggest games of the season.

Carlton’s Sarah Tongue is hoping for a good turnout of support for the game which kicks off at 12.30pm with the Carlton team including several Academy players.

The success of the club’s youngsters is not only good news for today, but bodes well for the future as Carlton will be reliant on developing players themselves and with no sugar daddy at the helm, it is the only way forward for the club.

The youngster’s 7-1 win over Wollaton Hall Stags on Sunday saw Ethan Turnbull score a superb hatrick ably assisted with goals from Zindan Salih, Sonny Shaw, Finlay Huffadine and Jack Cockram.

Former Carlton physio Stuart Scott who is now at Coalville Town has kindly come forward to sponsor the Matchball for Wednesday nights clash with Loughborough Dynamo and says he is very much looking forward to the clash between two of his former clubs.
