LOCAL RADIO AND TV TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE FOR SUNDAYS BIG CHARITY GAME!

The build up and excitement created ahead of Sunday’s big Charity match at Stoke Lane in aid of World Game Changers and Carlton Town grass roots football has now captured the attention of the local media with both Radio Nottingham and Notts Tv contacting Club Chairman Mick Garton in the last 24 hours.

Social Media messages put out by the likes of boxer Leigh Wood and Notts inform Cricket star Luke Fletcher have attracted hundreds of views and the message put out by Line of duty’s Vicky McClure and Talksports Jonny Owen supporting the day and urging people to come to the event as now attracted over 16,000 views.

Chairman Mick Garton and sports broadcaster Steve Corry who is playing in the game are set to be on the Mark Dennison show shortly after 10.15am on Wednesday 26th May and Notts Tv are set to catch up with Garton and event organiser Boatsy later in the day at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

This website also understands that’s Notts Tv will be at the game on the day conducting interviews and hopefully catching some of the action.

Another bonus today is the weather forecast for the day which looks excellent with sunshine and temperatures into the early twenties.

The gates open at 1pm on Sunday 30th May with the football kicking off at 3pm and admission is by a donation on the gate.
