LOUGHBOROUGH MISERY AND COACH TO BRIGHOUSE!
It would be difficult for this website to sum up the pain felt on Tuesday night when a 90th minute goal from former Carlton player of the year Danny Gordon who is now displaying his talents at Loughborough Dynamos broke Carlton’s hearts, but those in the game for long enough will understand, this awful scenario often happens in football and probably always will !
Alan Murphy’s excellent report on the Supporters website sums it up and there is nothing in reality that can be added to that.
All the team can do at this point is go again and try and get those vital points which would mean everything and will be the difference between Carlton staying up or going down.
Brighouse Town are Carlton’s next opponents this Saturday and the club will be running a coach to this crucial away game, which will leave the ground at around 10.45am.
Supporters who wish to travel with the players and coaching staff are asked to arrive at the ground at 10.30am and the cost for return travel is £10 payable to Brian Dennett on the day.
Carlton are then at home on Easter Monday to AFC Mansfield 3pm.
