MARQUEE BACK IN PLACE AS FINAL PREPARATIONS ARE MADE FOR MERTHYR TOWN VISIT.
Gary Boatsy Clarke and the crew swung back into action this week to get the marquee back in place after a storm a couple of weeks ago saw it get swept away.
A big thankyou to all who helped and preparations are well under way for Saturday’s big game.
The ground will open from 12 midday with a Happy hour running till 2pm with the following discounts applying for those coming early.
San Miguel will be a ridiculous £3.10 a pint, Strongbow £3.00 a pint, Fosters only £2.70, Marstons Smooth £2.50 with Castle Rock’s Harvest Pale and Elsie Mo £3.00 a bottle for the two hour period.
Dj Sanj Beri will be playing on the patio from 1pm until kick off time at 3pm.
The first game at Trent Bridge of the new 100 competition will be shown on the Club’s Tv screens with Trent Rockets taking on Southern Braves at 2.30pm.
After the game, the British and Irish Lions first test against South Africa will be shown in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.
The main attraction is obviously on the main pitch with Carlton Town taking on Merthyr Town and admission to the Bill Stokeld Stadium is £6 Adults, £4 concessions and £2 kids from 12 midday.
