MASSIVE RELAUNCH OF 100 CLUB FOR APRIL DRAW ANNOUNCED!

In a major announcement, Carlton Town’s Supporters Club have announced the expansion of the 100 club to the 150 club in what is a ground breaking move revealed on the 1st anniversary of the launch of the competition which has proved massively successful and involves all of the Carlton Town family.

After talks with the club, it has been agreed that the Tote competition will end and the 150 Club will take priority with extra prizes being offered and a fantastic April draw lined up at the ground when the Clubhouse Sportsbar reopens in April.

Chairman Mick Garton explained “Alan Murphy has managed to keep fantastic interest in the 100 club draw with only a handful of people dropping out in the first year. We mentioned to one or two supporters in the Tote what we were planning to do and they immediately agreed to move across to the 150 club, I understand Alan as also sold other numbers and that the response from club officials,  players and supporters as been brilliant as they realise how vital this income stream is to the club with no other income coming in over the last 4 months”

“The April draw will feature a record 7 prizes including a new monthly top prize of £150 and an increased second prize of £75 , there will also be a superb bonus prize in April with two places in a corporate box at Trent Bridge which I will be hosting for the T20 Blast clash between current T20 Champions  Nottinghamshire Oulaws v Worcestershire Rapids on Tuesday 22nd June, there is also the England v Czech European Championship clash on Television in the Suite which can be watched to its conclusion and starts during the 2nd innings of the cricket and the prize for 2 people includes all food and drink”

“I realise how important this income stream and draw is for the club’s future and I have promised Alan more Bonus prizes in the future”

“I intend to ensure there is a bonus prize going forward at least every 3 months, but I can promise now that if Alan and the Supporters Club are able to fill all 150 numbers by the end of April for the second draw, I will make a similar prize available for the May draw as well, it really is that important for the club”

“Bonus Ball and Tote have been fantastic for the club, but Covid 19 as changed all our lives and waiting to catch up with people on Matchdays to collect money, when people are not all now carrying cash is I’m afraid untenable going forward and the monthly Direct debit is so much more straightforward”

” I will consult with people that have paid up to date for Tote regarding what should happen with the money currently in the kitty and report back in due course, but I would ask you all to get behind the Supporters club all new 150 club, a fantastic iniative which now moves up to a new level and how good would it be if we can hit the 150 mark with players, Commitee, management and supporters all coming together” concluded the Millers Chairman.
