MICK AND JOSH GET ONE HOUR DRAGON DRIVING LESSON!
With the latest Carlton Town fundraiser only days away, Chairman Mick Garton thought he had better reacquaint himself with Dj equipment after admitting his last gig was 28 years ago.
Garton was in the mix at the Dragon tonight for one hour only with Josh Hodgson (both pictured with Dave Hodgson) and it proved an excellent driving lesson for both of them.
Josh told us ” Mick was in his element and you could see the enjoyment he gets from doing this and despite playing a couple of records at the wrong speed, he was cracking it and we are both looking forward to Sunday as I’m sure Alan is”
” I will have to get back into my Robin Could persona which I haven’t done for over a year , but I understand Mick is turning back the clock 28 years, I’m also looking forward to seeing what music Alan Murphy will bring , knowing Mick will be mainly 80’s ”
” The dress rehearsal went well however and we hope we have a decent turnout and raise a few pounds for the club” concluded an excited Josh Hodgson.
The event kicks off at The Dragon pub in Long Row at 2pm this Sunday 24th February with a big fund raising draw for the football club and everyone is invited to this event with no charge on the door, which will hopefully bring plenty of smiles and raise a few quid for the club.
