MILLERS CLUBHOUSE TO REOPEN ON MONDAY FOR OUTDOOR SERVICE !
Carlton Town are delighted to comfirm that their Clubhouse Sportsbar will reopen for outdoor service on Monday 12th April following the lifting of restrictions by the government.
The club and loyal supporters have been working hard behind scenes to spruce up the clubhouse with a New stage and Dj decks looking particularly impressive.
With the Club being unable to hold fundraisers themselves, support from Gedling Borough Council and the Football Foundation as enabled the Millers to replace the tired looking floor coverings in the bar and massively improve the club’s car park.
The newly launched 150 Supporters club draw will take place next Saturday after the Hucknall Town friendly and although supporters can not attend the friendly which will be held without spectators, they can call at the ground afterwards for the draw and have a pint or two outside and catch up with the management and players.
The 150 club of course will pay for money to be spent on the pitch during the summer and the club are delighted to announce that they with the help of Marstons have also made improvements behind the bar with improvements to the draught beer selection with Sam Miguel being introduced and wine and soft drinks on tap.
Our thanks go to Gareth at Marstons and Club President Roger Smith and Bar and Catering Manager Jamie Huckerby for doing the groundwork on this before lockdown.
Other work to improve facilities around the ground is ongoing with Trevor Wells, Chairman Mick Garton and Dave Hodgson heavily involved along with big friend of the club Boatsy ahead of his massive Charity day at the ground on Sunday 30th May.
In summary, while there have been so many negatives in the country as a whole in the last 12 months, the club and their supporters are working hard to ensure that when everything reopens, the Matchday and general experience at the ground will be as good as it can be for the 2021/2022 season.
